Tranquil home away from home. Just what we needed ! A beautiful place to wind down from the busy CBD. The cottage is amazing! Very neat, clean and modern. The cottage is in an up market area of Hout Bay which is secluded and peaceful. The accommodation is very large, it is serviced three times a week and is kept spotless. The large patio offers fantastic views down through the valley to the bay which is surrounded by stunning mountains. Breakfast and evenings on the patio are simply wonderful when sharing a chilled bottle of wine. The whole property is secure and safe and offers a very relaxing atmosphere. Stayed at Mountain Rise Hout Bay for 10 days just 2 weeks ago. What a treat! Beautifully fitted (luxury kitchen and bathroom, nice dining room, huge TV, super beds), wonderful sea and mountain views (with lovely breeze in the afternoons), secure without being daunting and good for PC/IT users who need to keep in touch with friends or work. Hout Bay without doubt the most delightful place to stay in Cape Town. Even better were our wonderful hosts and family who made us so welcome. Could not fault a single thing.
